All of our programs are designed to enable our students to look forward to hopeful futures, and to provide them with educational, economic and social needs. We accomplish this by bridging desire with opportunity.
FEED the MIND, FEED the SOUL
Our Feed the Mind, Feed the Soul Program will provide a sound, Nutritional meal for students.
- SCHOOL MEAL
It is no secret that when a child is hungry, it is near impossible to learn effectively. Our SCHOOL MEAL program eliminates the obstacles that only hunger itself can bring. That is why all students who attend our schools are offered one balanced meal a day, but our goal is to feed them both breakfast and lunch. For many of our school students, this is the only meal they will receive all day. In doing so, we provide nourishment for healthy bodies and remove the distraction of hunger from the classrooms.
- HOLIDAY MEAL
Our HOLIDAY MEAL program reaches outside the four walls of the school and into our community. On special holidays such as Independence Day and Christmas, we reach out to our community with meals, and by doing this, we let them know that they are not forgotten. We currently are able to feed 2,000 kids per holiday season, but our desire is to feed so many more.
- CLEAN WATER
Our CLEAN WATER program is provided by placing water filter systems in each school. Do you believe that everyone deserves something as simple as clean, safe drinking water? Clean water is vital for prevention of sickness and disease. Many of our students are dehydrated due to the lack of safe drinking water. When safe water is not available, the only choice left is stagnant and diseased water. This is a needless circumstance that can be easily rectified when our sponsors get involved.

BRIDGING DESIRE AND OPPORTUNITY
The students of Sierra Leone have a great desire but lack the opportunities, while several international students have the opportunities, but lack the desire. By helping individuals who possess the opportunity to realize and stimulate their passion while equipping the individuals who have the desire but lack the opportunity with the tools and skills needed to enhance their abilities, all program recipients will increase their chances of success.
- STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM
Our STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM allows a Sierra Leone student to go to another country for education, which often spurs them to come back and make a difference in their community. The continuing impact of study abroad on a student’s personal, professional, and academic life shows that study abroad clearly and indisputably impacts the career path, world-view, and self-confidence of students. These students frequently return with innovative and comprehensible ways to change the future of their homeland.
The Study Abroad Program offers youth the opportunity for cross-cultural exposure to an international learning environment and an understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives. We believe that cross-cultural awareness and exposure creates open-mindedness, well-rounded students who are better prepared for success without borders. By molding students in a foreign country, the society benefits by creating new cultural perspectives which will create a better future for the generations to come.
- CULTURAL IMMERSION PROGRAM
We offer a CULTURAL IMMERSION PROGRAM that enables students from around the globe to spend weeks or an entire summer with students in Sierra Leone. Our international students are key players in educating, inspiring and motivating each other, as well as our own students in Africa. In the long run, our goal is to bring more cross-cultural understanding into the world. When international students see the lack of privilege in Africa, they more readily discover the needs of others. The experiences they have in Sierra Leone will create purpose, resulting in better students and successful future leaders.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
- Our TEACHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY is open for the summer to allow instructors from the U.S and Europe to mentor and train native Sierra Leone instructors in country. We also welcome retired teachers who desire to invest their energies into the students at our schools. No one knows better than a teacher the difference that education can make in a child’s life, and the great reward in knowing you played an integral part in it. Yes, it is true - it takes a village to raise a child. But without qualified teachers to educate, our students cannot achieve the opportunities that only academic training offers.
- Our MEDICAL/DENTAL VOLUNTEERS help us administer healthcare needs to our students. We seek medical personnel to provide annual physicals, dental services and immunizations for the students of our schools. Prevention is the key element to deterring communicable diseases and educating the students on healthy lifestyle behaviors. A healthy body means a healthy mind. It is our passion to ensure that our children receive what they need physically, medically, socially, and emotionally, so that they will thrive as students now and as future front-runners of tomorrow.
